As a result of duplicate shawl Kutchi workers were not getting the due of their hard work. Delhi based workers used to make cheap shawls of same design and patterns and sell them at a low cost. This has a diverse effect on the hardworking workers of Kutch. But now GIT System has been implemented. The Geographical Indicator Tag will help the workers get their due. This tag fulfill geographical identity which will ensure the location of the shawls.
