A 7-month-old girl was found abandoned in Janmabhoomi Express on Wednesday, 28th March.
At Ahmedabad railway station, in S-1 coach a seven month old girl was lying alone in the coach which caught attention of the cleaners. The child was handed over to the railway staff who immediately reported the matter to Railway Protection Force (RPF).
She was taken to the Civil Hospital for medical examination. Later, she was produced before metropolitan magistrate D M Patel, who directed that the girl be sent to Mahipatram Rupram Ashram, a local orphanage. The girl is named as Bhumi as she was found from Janmbhumi Train.
On Friday Manger of the Ashram received a phone call claiming that they are parents of Bhumi. However the Ashram has not told from where and by whom call was made but it has claimed that they left the baby in train by mistake. But question arises that even after two days missing of the girl why did not her parents filed missing complain.
A women from Mumbai named Shaheeda is claiming that Bhumi is her daughter. She stays in Ghatkopar and claims that her daughter is missing since one month and after she saw news of Bhumi onnews channel the girl resembled like her daughter Fatima. ” My husband took away my daughter after a fight between us, as she is a child her features changes therefore I am not certain that she is my Fatima but I will visit the Ashram to confirm. Manger of Ashram has asked her to come with document which proves that she is her daughter.
