An incident of cockroach in cold drink came into light at Wadaj Area of Ahmedabad. The incident occurred when a man bought cold drink bottles for his guests. What is more shocking is that nobody took notice of the cockroach in the bottle till it arrived at the retail shop. The buyer has decided to complain to the Health Department and the shop owner has decided to draw attention of his wholesaler and officials of the company.

Theft occurred in ATM near Valsad station. Thieves took the advantage of absence of security guard. It was unsuccessful attempt as the thieves tried to broke the cash section but failed therefore returned back empty handed. It is learned that security guard fell asleep after police patrolling. Investigation of the theft is going on.

A 35 foot dead whale was found floating at the sea shore near Priyadarshni Park, Mumbai. Thought the stink of the carcase was unbearable crowd in large number gathered at the shore to get a glimpse of the dead ship. People were curious to see the giant fish in real as they have seen them only on discovery or geography channel.
However people are demanding to clean the carcase as soon as possible so that does not affect the health of people.

There has been a hike in the price of CNG Gas. Adani Gas Ltd announced increase in the price Compressed Natural Gas. The hike is of Rs4.70 per kg and will be implemented from April 1. The auto rickshaw drivers are upset with this price hike and are threatening to go on strike if the price hike is not taken back. The auto drivers have said that if the hike is not taken back than they will take out a rally and will also increase in the fare price.

Saiyaji Hospital of Vadodra is normally flooded with patients but due to ongoing strike of Medical teachers silence is prevailed in the Hospital. Doctors are not returning to their work by which patients are compelled to visit private doctors. Patients are suffering in both ways physically and financially as well.
Now Junior doctors have also joined the strike. Patients and their families wants that strike should be called off as its already high time. In Inflation common man could not bear the expanses of Private Hospitals.
The medical teachers had been on strike since twelve days demanding for a pay hike as per UGC norms.

Now after smart cards commuters will be getting a token system to travel in BRTS buses. As of now the system will be implemented in 5 stations as pilot system and after its success will be implemented over all. As part of pilot system it will be implemented at stations such as Nehrunagar, Jai Mangal, Ranip Crossing, Andh Jan Mandal, and Bhavsar Hostel. A plastic token and smart cards will be given instead of paper tickets. Passengers are accepting the system and are happy using it.

In today’s time people are more attracted towards junk foods and fast foods. Many companies sell their products claiming 0% fat in them and people are consuming them in large amount. But Centre for Science and Environment has claimed that these popular “junk foods contain very high levels of trans-fats, salts and sugar, that affects one’s health adversely. The report revealed the names of 16 major food brands that included the list of big names like Maggi, MacDonald’s foods, Top Ramen noodles, Haldiram’s Aloo Bhujia and KFC’s fried chicken. These side-effects can also lead to disease such as diabetes and heart problems.

BMC has prepared teams of doctors that are catering surveys by going to people’s home to spread awareness. A patient if get proper care on time can be cured.
