Surat Police on Thursday held an employee for allegedly staling gold biscuit worth rupees 75 lakh. From Money exchange office the biscuit was stolen. On Wednesday night, while checking the stock, owner of the office was surprised to find 25 gold biscuits weighing 100 grams each missing.
He immediately contacted Mahidharpura police and told them that he suspected his employees. During investigation, cops found that except one, all other employees were accessible. Police probed the matter further and arrested the missing employee, who was identified as Bhikharam Devas, a resident of Godadara.
