The Food and Drugs Control Administration raided a factory named Sonic Impex, that was making fake cosmetics like toothpaste, deodorant, fairness cream, shampoos, etc. Many of these products were made in name of brands. This factory is located in Narol area of Ahmedaba and FDCA seized products worth rupees 30 lac rupees.
The factory did not hold a license for manufacturing these products. The use of such products can damage user’s skin.
15 samples from the factory are sent to laboratory after which necessary steps will be taken.
