It is once again another seizure of weapons from Ahmedabad before Rathyata. Police has seized a truck in which two pipe bombs and 3 hands made ‘Desi’ bombs from Gomtipur area of Ahmedabad. These weapons were kept in the tool box of the vehicle. Police department was informed during night this by unnamed phone call. Investigation is further on with doubt on the phone maker who has not revealed identity.
Auspicious occasion of 135th Rathyatra is just one day to go, and police department of Ahmedabad is on run. Control room rang up in the night with unnamed phone call that there is a truck in the area of kadipur char rasta-Gomtipur loaded with 5 hand made bombs. It includes two pipe bombs and three dabba bombs. It was informed that these weapons are kept in the bag which is kept in toolbox of the truck. Police rushed to the spot and weapons were recovered. With the help of bomb squad and FSL bombs have been diffused.
Police investigation has revealed so far that truck belongs to Mohammad Arif. According to the complaint from him he accuses this as a conspiracy against him to make him trapped. It is to be noted that phone number of the informer is out of reach and replies switch off. Police has started investigations in that direction. Looking at the ingredients i.e shells, tobacco cans and gunpowder, it has power to kill.
