Teachers and assistant teachers appointed under Nirantar Shikshan Yojana in 2003-04 have not been paid salary of Nineteen months. The scheme ended in 2008 and since then these teachers not been paid. They allege that they had not been paid for 19 months before the scheme ended.
Anandbhai an RTI activist has revealed that grant of 8.7 crore is given by central Government but under another scheme. Chairman of AMC school board is saying that when Central Government will order to pay them teachers will be paid then.
