The massive fire in Mantralaya has revealed the reality of Disaster Management that has its main center in the Mantralaya. The disaster management is made to control the situations during earthquake, floods and other calamities. But during the fire this disaster management was not even able to call fire brigade for their rescue. It was only when Tribal Welfare Minister, Babanrao Pachpute, called the fire brigade that fire fighters arrived.
Disaster management failed completely during this massive fire similarly, when it failed during the terrorist attack on 26th November 2008.
