Fire engulf in the Central Secretariat, Delhi

Fire erupts in the Central Secretariat building in Delhi. The fire was noticed on the second floor of North Block, which houses the Union Home and Finance Ministries. Six fire fighters rushed to the spot. There was no casualty or major damage in the incident. The fire took place at around 2pm and the fire brigade was also late.
After learning about the incident Home Minister P Chidambaram rushed to the incident and left after giving instruction to the officials. It is believed that the fire took place because of short circuit. Though the fire was minor but after the Mumbai Mantralaya fire, this incident has raised many questions.

Boy survives after iron rod piercing his body, Ahmedbad

Ketan Kantariya of Bhavnagar accidentally pierced an iron rob in his back till his spinal cord. He jumped in a pitch dig by his neighbour in order to make a tap there. He jumped in that pitch in order to take a bath while raining and injured himself. Ketan was later shifter to Ahmedabad’s Civil Hospital.

Accident on the sets of Salman Khan’s Dabang 2, Mumbai

Three people were brutally injured during shooting of an action sequence of the film on Saturday. The injured technician and stuntman were rushed to the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai.
The explosion took place because of short circuit.
Arbaaz Khan, Salman Khan and their father Salim Khan, a veteran writer, visited the three injured technicians in the hospital and the shooting of the film was reportedly postponed over the mishap.
However, after visiting the injured in hospital, Salman Khan decided to go home on bike rather than his car in order to avoid Mumbai’s traffic jam.

Swami Nithyananda surrounds in one more controversy, Madurai

At first sex scandal, then ruckus with journalist and then intoxicated prasad and now self claimed godman, Swami Nithyananda may get surrounded by yet new controversy. And this time his controversy is about his Madurai Adheenam Ashram. A Telugu magazine said that some mysterious activities are going on in the ashram and transaction of crores of rupees is taken out from this ashram. The magazine claimed that the CCTV camera installed outside the ashram shows some mysterious activities going on in the ashram. According to the footage a car enters the ashram during midnight. Also one of the disciple of Swami NIthyananda and a lady are captured coming out from the ashram carrying a bags with them. It is likely that these mysterious activities may trigger one more controversy for Swami Nithyananda.

Gundaraj of Swami Nithyananda’s disciple, Madurai

One of the disciples of Swami Nithyananda thrashed an old man who wanted to enter Adheenam Path of Madurai. In one of the footage captured in CCTV camera, one can see how a disciple of Swami Nithyananda slapped an old man and thrashed him on the ground. Nobody dared to oppose the disciple.

Beheaded head of Mainakshi Thapa not found yet, Mumbai

Minaxi Thapa was killed in April for extortion of Rs 15 lakh from her family. Both the accused Amit Jaiswal and Prity Surin are nabbed by the police. However, her brother who is in Indian Army says that after two months of Minakshi’s death her decapitated head is not found yet and because of this her body cannot be cremated. He also appeals that this case should be sent in fast track court. The case is now with Crime Branch.

Agitated mob set a house on fire after murder of a youth, Rajkot

On 24 June a youth was killed in Dhorananagar area of Rajkot. This agitated the residents who demanded the police to nab the accused as soon as possible. But before the police could take any action a group of mob set one house on fire. Though fire brigade controlled the fire, the angered mob at the end started pelting stone at police. Hence, the police had to release tear gas shells to bring the situation under control.
Learning about the incident, DCP, ACP, Additional Commissioner and other officials rushed to the spot.
Police has sent the deadbody for postmortem and has also nabbed one for killing him. Investigation is going on in order to reach the core of this murder case.

After Mahi one more child fell in open borewell, dies, Kolkata

5 year old Mahi lost the battle of her life as she was trapped in a borewell for 80 hours. The rescuers pulled out a lifeless body of Mahi from 68 feet deep borewel ditch. The postmortem said the child had suffocated to death within six hours of falling into the ditch on Wednesday night.
Hours after this fatal incident, a minor boy, Roshan, in Kolkata fell in a borewell. Roshan Ali fell in 30 – 40 feet deep well on Sunday. Fire brigade and Army started their rescue operation but unfortunately Roshan died inside the borewell.
Such incidents of kids falling and dying in borewells are increasing in number.
