As per the instruction of State Government, Ahmedabad Municipal School Board has started a campaign so that kid upto 5 years of age gets primary education. Following this the teachers of municipal schools were suppose to take a survey in their areas to prepare a of such kids who are of 5 years age and eligible to receive primary education. These teachers were given time from January to April. But there survey results were not satisfactory. Hence these teachers were given a notice that their increments will be halted if this survey is not done properly. However, clarification is also given that they do not want to halt the increment but their intention is that they should do the work properly.
