Tinsel town with politicians at Esha Deol’s Reception, Mumbai

A grand reception was organized following the wedding of Esha and Bharat. The bride was glowing in a pink lehenga while husband Bharat Takhtani was dapper in a black suit. Ehsa married Bharat on Friday at Iskon temple of Mumbai.

Veteran actors Dilip Kumar, Saira Banu, Jeetendra, Sanjay Khan, new Rajya Sabha MP Rekha, and Zeenat Aman made it to the reception. Younger stars including Dirty actress Vidya Balan, Dhak dhak girl Madhuri Dixit, Sushmita Sen, Tabu, Kajol and Sridevi were present. Salman Khan, who had taken charge of Esha’s wedding celebrations, was also there to wish his rakhi sister.

Politicians such as L K Advani, Raj Thackeray, Uddhav Thackeray, and Sushma Swaraj were also present at the grand reception.

South Indian wedding for Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani, Mumbai

Veteran actors Hema Malini and Dharmendra’s daughter Esha tied the knot with businessman Bharat Takhtani in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony. Esha and Bharat got married in a south Indian style at the Iskcon temple in JuhuEsha was clad in a red and gold Kanjeevaram saree.
Besides family members like sister Ahana, Abhay Deol, several B-town celebrities were present at the occasion including Amitabh Bachchan with son Abhishek, Manoj Kumar, Vinod Khanna, Vyjayanthimala, Ramesh Sippy, Fardeen Khan, Poonam Sinha, Madhoo, Anu Malik, designer Neeta Lulla and her daughter Nishka. The wedding ceremony was a royal one.

Close friends and relatives attended Esha Deol’s mehendi ceremony in Mumbai. The bride-to-be looked pretty in an orange-yellow lehenga designed by Neeta Lulla. Her fiancé Bharat Takhtani wore a without-sleeves Nehru jacket over a yellow-white kurta-pyjama designed by the same designer.
However, Dharmendra and Sunny Deol were missing from the mehendi ceremony.

Sunny Deol took the responsibility of making wedding card for beloved sister Esha Deol. Top wedding card designers of Mumbai were hired to make this card. Hema Malini, Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani gave a thumbs up for the lotus theme and Radhi-Krishna theme in the card.
Name of the guests are written with 24 carat gold. Also, the wedding card turned gift box containing wedding ladoos in it.
1200 wedding cards were prepared. Higher ups from Bollywood to Politics will be present in this high profile wedding.
A royal touch was given to the wedding card of Esha and Bharat.

15 cm long live worm taken out from eye, Mumbai

Since last two weeks, Mulund resident P K Krishnamurthy, 75, felt his right eye twitching and even hurting at times. On Wednesday, doctors pulled out a 15-cm live worm from his eye, in one of the city’s rarest medical instances.
Krishnamurthy started feeling irritation in his left eye two weeks ago. Dr Seetharaman said that the worm was not only alive, but moving, and was visible by naked eye
Doctor made a small opening in Krishnamurthy’s conjunctiva, and removed the worm using a pair of forceps. The tricky procedure, which was video-recorded, lasted 15 to 20 minutes.
According to doctors, the worm was removed in the last time other the patient might have faced severe consequences for this.

11 Child Labours rescued from factory, Gandhinagar

11 child labour were rescued from Ranasaria Poly Pack Pvt. Ltd. in Kalol of Gandhinagar. Interestingly, there was a notice board outside the factory stating that they do not make those work under 18 years of age.
But when police raided the place they found a good number of child labour and 15 Bonded Labours in it. Most of the kids came from West Bengal. They worked for 10 to 11 hours per day and received 150 to 200 rupees.
When asked majority of them expressed desire to go back to their homes. Police has filed a complaint.

311 fishermen returns from Pakistan Jail, Ahmedabad

311 Gujarati fishermen have returned to Ahmedbad from Pakistan jail. Where delight of returning home can be seen on their faces there are still many of them who are locked up in Pakistan jail. The returned fishermen has expressed regret on the dead body of a Gujarati that is there in Pakistan.

The fishermen arrived in Jammutavi Ahmedabad Train from different jails of Pakistan. Their sufferings in Pakistan jail can be seen from their faces.

The fishermen who returned blamed that while they were locked up in Pakistan jail were not treated well when they fell ill. And since one month dead body is lying there since one month and the fishermen has demanded that procedure of bringing the dead body in India should be done.

When the train arrived it can be seen that the fishermen did not took bath from last three days. And the first thing they did after getting down was to take a bath. Representatives of state government visited them. However, now the state government will impose a GPRS system at the cost of 46 crore rupees so that the fishermen does not cross border anymore. Also they said the process to bring the dead body that is there in Pakistan has been started.

June month ended, farmers still awaits for rains, Jamnagar

June month has ended and there is no sign of rains yet. Farmers who already have sowed seed in their farms and now due to lack of rain they fear that their farms will get withered.
Plantation is already done as part of pre monsoon activity.
If the rains will be more delayed than it will be a major problem for everyone.
The situation is worse in Jamnagar city. Talking about the irrigation facility of this city than the quantity of the stored water in such that it can last only till 15 July. If the rains will be delayed than corporation will have to cut off water to solve the problem.
49 village of Jamnagar are provided water with tankers.

Loot in Canara Bank, Ahmedabad

11 lac rupees are looted form Canara Bank of Odhav area, Ahmedabad. Three accused attacked the bank in bright day light and looted the bank on gun point. The accused came at around 1pm and threatened the 5 bank employees.
However, this incident has raised many questions regarding the safety measurements of the bank. There was no CCTV camera in the bank. Also no security official was present on duty in the bank.

Mayur did not received medical treatment when he was electrocuted, Ahmedabad

Once more fact revealed after the death of 9 year old Mayur Thakore due to electrocution in a fun fair. At first the manager and other people of fun fair did not inform anybody about the tragic accident and buried the kid near Palanpur without informing anyone. And now in the new investigation fact revealed that while Mayur was getting electrocuted the accused could have provided him medical treatment. It was in front of their eyes that the kid breathed last. And due to lack of medical treatment the kid lost his life.

When the kid got the electric shock the managers were present on the spot and they saw him agonizing in front of their eyes. After the kid succumbed to the shocks, Krunal at first took him on bike to Adalaj where alongwith other accused they went to Chitrasini of Palanpur.

Crime Branch has nabbed the manager Krunal and 3 other accused who are on 10 day remand. Interrogation with Kunal revealed three other names who helped them to disperse the dead body. Krunal is organizing the fun fair since last 6 years.
