On Thursday police found bodies of a man and a woman from a house in Odhav. The woman’s body has strangulated marks and the man hanged himself. It is believed that Mahavir Singh at first killed his wife and later committed suicide by hanging himself. Residents believed that constant quarrels between the husband and the wife might have resulted in this.
The husband had recently returned from Sri Lanka. Dead bodies are sent for postmortem in order to discover the truth behind the incident.
The production of vegetables has decreased because of the delayed monsoon as a result of which rates of the vegetables has increased tremendously. Vegetables such as cabbage, tomato, lady fingers, etc., that are used in daily use has become costly because of which common people are facing a lot of problem.
Sangeeta, was was kidnapped from CST station and was traced in Haridwar by railway police has been brought back to Mumbai last night. The entire kidnapping was captured in CCTV camera where accused Raju kidnapped her from CST and took her to Haridwar to force her into begging. But the footage was broadcasted in media and a constable in Haridwar identified him and hence the girl was saved.

On Thursday Bollywood film producer Prakash Chandnani, was arrested at Ahmedabad airport after he landed from Dubai early on Thursday morning.He was arrested for alleged involvement in IPL betting racket busted in Mumbai. Later he was handed over to Mumbai police.
Prakash Chandnani is the co-producer of Bollywood movie Gali Gali mein chor hai starring Akshay Khanna.
A pregnant surrogate mother alleged rape on accused Rajkumar Jadav of raping her twice and cheating her for 1.60 lakh rupees. The victim gave her first baby in adoption for 2 lakh rupees but her lover gave her only 40,000 rupees and took away the entire amount.
The victim stays with her mother and sisters and for the second time decided to choose surrogacy for money and became pregnant for the second time.
She has accused her lover for raping her twice. But further she also said that she want to marry him for the sake of his mother and sisters as only she can improve him. Police has as of now lodged a complaint on the basis of the victims statement who is undergoing treatment in Civil Hospital and is on a look out of the accused.
Rustam-e-Hind and Bollywood’s first action hero, Dara Singh succumbed to his illness of 12th July, 2012. Dara Singh is best known for his legendary role as Hanuman in the television series ‘Ramayan’.
The 84-year-old was hospitalised last Saturday after he complained of chest pain and uneasiness. With little chance of recovery and keeping with his family’s wishes, Singh was shifted to his residence on Wednesday. The last rites were performed on Thursday afternoon.

In Surat dead body of a three year old boy was found in River Tapi onThursday. The body was clad in pink clothes and there was 10 rupees note in hands of the boy. The body was thrown in the river after wrapping it with stones and packets of sands so that body do not surfaced out of water.
Maharashtra cabinet has approved the ban on sale and consumption of gutkha and paan masala in the state for one year. At the end of the year, the ban will be extended for another 12 months. The ban will come into effect once the notification is issued, which could be anytime soon. The Foodand Drugs Administration (FDA) department had presented the proposal to this effect at Wednesday’s meeting. On June 5, HT had reported that the cabinet had given in-principle approval to the ban.
