In a Bizarre incident nine people lost their eyes after cataract operation. The incident is of Anand district where camp for Cataract was held. Around 30 people went under operation. But unfortunately 9 of them lost their eyesight post surgery. They were later shifted to Civil hospital of Ahmedabad for treatment. Family members of victim are in rage as they were not informed of the incident.
