Minor scuffle took place during Anna Hazare’s fast at Jantar Mantar. Haazare’s latest agitation started on an unpleasant note with a minor scuffle between supporters of the activist and a group of youth shouting anti-Hazare and anti-Arvind Kejriwal slogans.

Few days ago a shocking incident came into the light when a man abducted a baby girl from CST railway station. The entire incident was captured in CCTV camera because of which the girl was traced and saved. Now a similar incident has occurred where at Dadar railway station a 6 month old girl was abandoned by a woman. The unknown woman asked a passenger to hold the baby for a while as she needs to answer nature’s call, but she did not come back. Hence the passenger handed over the baby to police station who after waiting for a week sent the baby to an observation home. A complaint has been lodged against the woman who abandoned the baby.
While the woman left the baby on the railway station and the entire incident was captured in CCTV camera installed on the railway station.
The incident occurred on 16th July on platform no. 7 where the lady very cleverly handed over the baby to a passenger predicting to go to toilet.

In Parvat Patiya region a diesel laden tanker overturned and diesel started spilling from the tanker. Immediately police and fire brigade was called up. But before police turned up people gathered and started collecting diesel. Regardless of age and gender woman children and youth with bottles and buckets in hand started collecting diesel.

Farmers of Vadodra are worries as monsoon is delayed this year. There is around 5 lakh hectare land district but sowing is done in only 2 lakh hectare field due to delayed rain. Cotton and Tuver are the main crops if rain does not arrive their production will be affected adversely.

On Wednesday when AMC officials approached to demolish Sambhavnath Jain temple in Vejalpur they faced fierce protest by devotees of Jain Derasar. According to officials the temple building is illegal and need to be demolished.
The temple authorities have urged its devotees to assemble at the spot when corporation officials came to bring the temple down, thousands of devotees gathered to save their temple. Around 50 Maharaj Sahebs (religious leaders) had come to the temple, which the temple authorities had mentioned on the notice board.

On Wednesday Ruckus was created by parents and students in Polytechnic college of Girls in Surat as 52 girls of fashion designing faculty were declared fail. On Saturday result of Fashion Designing was declared in which 52 girls were declared fail. Later it was found that the college did not send internal marks to GTU hence their result was affected.
However principal of the college has said that within two day new result will be declared.

A meeting between Narendra Modi and Chairman of Suzuki Motors Corporation, Osamu Suzuki was organized in the Hamamatsu city of Japan. Osamu Suzuki left no stone unturned to welcome Modi and his delegation. Suzuki was very impressed by the development of Gujarat State and thanked Modi for helping in the successful Maruti Suzuki project in Mehsana.
With the arrival of top international automobile company in Gujarat, the state is on the verge of becoming an automobile hub. Maruti Suzuki is about to establish its plant near Becharaji in Mehsana. A fruitful meeting of Modi and delegation with Maruti Suzuki Corporation was organized.
Modi was welcomed according to the Japanese tradition in the Grand Hotel of Hamamatsu city. Mayor and Commissioner of Hamamastu were also present. Modi was offered green tea according to the tradition. Osamu Suzuki organized a special lunch in the honour of Modi during which both discussed the established businesses in India.
Osamu Suzuki informed that 500 employees will be brought from Gujarat to Japan and they will be trained there after which they will be send back to work on the plant. Impressed by the development of the state he also said that he will advice other industries as well to invest in Gujarat.
Modi visited the biggest Suzuki plant in Hamamatsu. There he met Indian engineers working in on the Suzuki plant. He addressed the engineers and educated them about the development of Gujarat State. During this get together a Gujarati youth recited a poem for Modi.
After visiting Suzuki plant Modi visited Suzuki museum. There he was informed about how the car is made, what steps should be taken during accident, etc. Modi also saw a 3D film here.
After this Modi remained present in the JETRO Investment Seminar related to Automobile industries. Approximately 100 people were present in this seminar. After the seminar Modi organized a meeting with the office-bearers of Hamamatsu Chambers of Commerce and Industries.

In its verdict for the public interest litigation, the Gujarat High Court directed the government of India to allot natural gas for domestic and vehicular usage at the same rate to the city of Ahmedabad at which the same is supplied to Delhi and Mumbai to enforce the right of equality. It also asked centre not to discriminate between CGDs promoted by the central PSUs and other CDGs in the matter of allocation of Natural Gas.

Gujarat’s Chief Minister is on four day visit to Jpaan. On the third day of his tour Modi traveled in bullet train. Modi traveled to Hamamatsu from Tokyo in Japan’s fastest bullet train along with his delegation members. During his journey Narendra Modi expressed his desire to develop Gandhinagar-Ahmedabad-Dholera, Ahmedabad-Mumbai-Pune and Ahmedabad bullet train.
However in the month of June green signal was given by central government for the project of Bullet train between Ahmedabad and Mumbai. Now Modi has shown its anticipation in the project. Thus it is expected that shape of Bullet train in India will be shaping soon.
