Controversy sparked soon after Congress MP Vijay Darda,addressed Modi as “the lion of Gujarat and a political saint. When congress sources claimed that action would be taken against him for praising Narendra Modi, Vijay Darda defended himself by saying that claimed that he was misinterpreted and he indeed “mocked” the CM.
Darda said, “I was actually ridiculing Modi when I said ‘the lion of Gujarat’ what I actually meant was to mockingly refer to the man who has held the BJP and the RSS hostages.”
