Pune Blast – Gujarat ATS to reach blast site for investigation


The team from Gujarat, comprising cops from Anti Terrorists Squad (ATS) of Gujarat, reached Pune late on Thursday night and will stay there for a couple of days to study the entire blast scene.

The team will also help Pune investigators trace any Indian Mujahideen (IM) links to the blasts, as the state police was the first to bust the IM module in 2008.

Doctor forgets cloth inside woman’s stomach, Mumbai


Shaheen resident of Meera road went under surgery after complain of stone pain in stomach. But after the surgery her pain became double from earlier. She could not walk also without help. After three month of pain she was shown to other doctor which detected a piece of cloth inside her stomach. After surgery it was removed. Her Husband has filed complaint against the doctor.

Boy went to Sabarmati river for bath, drowned, Ahmedabad


On Friday in Meghaninagar a boy died after getting drowned in Sabarmati River. The deceased is identified as Ankit who was 17 year old. Ankit Maurya along with his friend bunked from school and went to Sabarmati River. He died after drowning. Police is investigation in the matter based on the mobile recovered from the incident spot.

State seeks Rs. 14683 cr for drought aid from Central Government


On Friday Central team led by by Union Agriculture Minister, Sharad Pawar, and Rural Development Minister, Jairam Ramesh visited Gujarat. The state Government has sought Rs 14,683 crore in view of a drought-like situation in the State.

Out of the Rs 480 crore demand for immediate solution to drinking water and fodder problems, the Centre has already released Rs 320 crore and the balance Rs 160 crore would be released in the next 45 days.

The Centre would consider increasing the number of employment days from 100 days to 150 days a year under MGNREGA schemes for the rural and poor masses.
