On Saturday Keshubhai Patel former Chief Minister of Gujarat resigned from BJP, along with him former Union Minister Kanshiram Rana also resigned from the part ahead of assembly elections. Patel quit the party to announce a new political Party ahead of Gujarat Polls. Name of news party was likely to be announced on Sunday.
While addressing media at his residence Keshubhai Said ” The party which we formed once has not remained same as it was”. A letter was faxed by Patel to to BJP president Nitin Gadkari, saying ” they regretted that, despite their best efforts to convince the central party leadership over the deteriorating situation in Gujarat under Narendra Modi, the party high command has refused to act “
