Man who sold Sonography Machine to Dr. Hemang Shah nabbed, Ahmedabad


Tv9 alongwith Health Department catered a joint operation in which we disclosed illegal sex determination practiced by two doctors namely, Hemang Shah and Ashok Patel. Wherein a sonography machine was seized from Dr. Hemang Shah who confessed of having bought it from Sonipat of Haryana. After this Women Crime Branch started investigation in the case and nabbed the man called Pradip Malhotra.
The sonography machine was sold violating the PNDT Act.
However, Malhotra said that he sold the machine to a man named Manish Patel who later sold it to the doctor. Patel himself did not have a license to buy or sell such machines. However, after his bail plea was rejected by High Court he is absconding. It is possible that he might have sold such machines at various other places.

Huge amount of wheat sack bags were seen in the railway yard of Vadodara city. Approximately, 140 trucks filled with gunny bags of wheat were wetting yet no action is taken by the authority.

Four year old missing boy found dead, Surat


A four year old was kidnapped on August 9,2012 and finally his dead body was found. His father was living in a rented house and the father suspected son of his landlord for kidnapping his kid. On the basis of this police detained the son of landlord and he on interrogation confessed of killing the kid.
Primary investigation revealed that Rahul, the accused, kidnapped the kid for money. He allegedly lured the kid by offering snacks and kidnapped him. Later when the kid insisted of going home and started shouting the accused strangulated him.

More than 45 injured in the Azad Maidan violence, Mumbai


Protest that was going on against the recent Assam riots and genocidal acts against Muslims in Myanmar turned violent. Till now more than 45 people are injured in this protest at Azad Maidan of Mumbai.
A state of high alert was issued throughout Mumbai ans protest got violent and the protestors started attacking policemen and mediapersons. In all, 11 vehicles, including three OB vans, were set afire.
The police resorted to lathi charge, lobbed tear gas shells and fired in the air to disperse the truculent crowd. The miscreants damaged at least 25 BEST buses.
All the shop in the area were shut down immediately. Learning about the incident police commissioner as well as high officials of Crime Branch rushed to the spot in order to take situation under control.
Ministers visited hospitals to the injured and has appealed people to maintain peace. Police personnel in large number are posted at Azad Maidan and as per the police the situation is under control.

Investigators suspects IM Operative to be one of the Pune bombers


Investigation agencies suspect that Indian Mujahideen (IM) operative Yasin Bhatkal, the man most wanted for a string of terror attacks across the country, planted one of the bombs on Jangli Maharaj road on August 1, around four hours before four low-intensity blasts rocked Pune.
According to the investigators, while inspecting CCTV foot-age collected from various establishments on J M road, a picture has strong resemblance to Yasin and was seen coming on a bicycle and parking it opposite the Sai Service petrol pump. The bomb was later defused by bomb squad.
Sources says that he was present in Pune on August 1 and was seen on J M road.
