Parts of south and central Gujarat received medium to heavy rainfall. However, the rains was scanty in North Gujarat and Saurashtra region.
In Ahmedabad The rains, which started late on Saturday night, continued almost non-stop throughout Sunday and continues to do on Monday. Complaints of water-logging were reported from Odhav, Dudheshwar, Viratnagar, Ranip, Vejalpur, Sarkhej, Vatva, Maninagar, Indrapuri and other places.
In Baroda Water is released from Kadana dam and in Pratapura lake hole is formed. As a result water lelvel of Mahinadi and River Vishwamitri will rise eventually. Hence nearby villages are put on flood alert
