One more case of irresponsibility results in rotten grains, Bhavnagar


Few days ago a report came of huge amount of wheat decayed in rain due to the irresponsibility in Vadodara. Now a similar incident has occurred in Bhavnagar as well. In a Government owned go-down pesticides has spoiled bulk rice and other grains. Not only this the pests has increased to such an extent that they are reaching to houses of people in the area which is spoiling there grains as well. The pests are seen everywhere in the houses of residents there hence making it difficult for them to survive.
The grains are decaying rather then feeding the poor and needy.
It was after the complaints of residents that Bhavnagar MLA visited the spot, who said that it was because of the pest control drug that was sprinkled on the grains to fight the pests. The MLA also said that if such heavy drug contained grains will be consumed by the people than it will harm their health drastically.

Huge response to Gujarat Congress’ proposed housing scheme


Congress party is getting a huge response to the proposed housing schemes in Gujarat. As a result of this Congress has announced one more promised stating that if their party will be elected than they will give free plots in villages and will also help financially while constructing the house by becoming their sponsors. The party also announced that they will provide a loan of upto one lakh rupees to village women for making their house in which they will give a 50% relief on the interest of the loans.
Howwever, BJP accuses that Congress is misleading the poor by luring them with such schemes. BJP also said that by this they are making fun of poor people.

Chaos as identity proofs found in bin following Congress’ housing scheme, Ahmedabad


Women of poor families can see their dream homes in the proposed housing scheme offered by Congress party. Following this women in large number are rushing to various centers for getting a house of their own. But in Sarkhej area the situation turned out of control when people saw copies of their identity proofs thrown in dustbin.
When people saw their identity cards thrown in such a situation and hence it became difficult to handle the huge crowd gathered on the spot.
However, Congress workers denies any such thing done by them and alleged that this is a trap to defame the party and that they have given serial numbers to all identity card copies that they have accessed. On the other hand BJP has continuously said that the Congress’ housing scheme is to mislead the poor people.

25000 Rotis Rolled in 10 minutes, Rajkot


A school of Rajkot called, Kadvibai Virani Kanya Vidhyalay held a unique activity in which the students made 25,000 rotis in 8 minutes. All 1200 girl students are from 5 to 10 standard. They were given a target of making 25,000 rotis in 10 minutes but they were practicing since last 15 days that helped them achieve their target in merely 8 minutes. In a total there were more than 35,000 rotis made in the activity.
This entire lot of rotis will be donated to the needy. Also, it is possible that the activity will also get a place in the Limca Book of Records.

Two women nabbed for stealing jewellery, Ahmedabad


On 16th August jewellery was stolen from the bag of a family who came to a jeweler’s shop. It was found that on the same day two women came into that shop who stole the jewellery from the bag that was kept on a sofa while the owners were busy buying jewellery. However, with the help of CCTV Camera that was installed in the shop the women are nabbed.
It can be seen very clearly how the two accused stole jewellery so easily. Police has arrested both the women and has also recovered the stolen jewellery from them.
