Village contracts cholera due to polluted water, 2 dies, Banaskantha


There has been an outbreak of cholera in Dhanera village of Banaskantha. Lack of pure drinking water has resulted in this disease.Many cases of diarrhea have been reported in the past five days. The disease has also caused the death of two people in the town.

Dhanera town has been declared cholera prone by district collector and district magistrate. The urban area of Dhanera is declared cholera prone and other villages are also included. Dhanera Mamlatdar is given the charge to control the epidemic of cholera.
