On Saturday onlookers saw something on the streets of Varachha which left them shocked . In Varachha region a group of policemen teamed up and thrashed an accused brutally. The accused was caught by the police when he tried to flee away after snatching purse of a woman. Four policemen beat him black and blue instead of taking him to nearby police station.

Ahmedabad LCB has caught Gang which used to loot by offering lift on Highway. LCB caught gang while vehicle checking at sarkhej-sanand sabar circle. Police has seized 1 Air gun,5 mobile and cash from the accused. Accused has acknowledge their presents in 9 case of loot but police is suspecting that the gang might be involved in other loot cases too.

Dolly Patel, has accused a PI and 4 others for raping her. The woman blames that during the CID Crime Branch custody she was raped by these 5 accused. The woman at first went to Meghaninagar police station to lodged her complaint. But looking at the seriousness of the issue the case was handed over to Ahmedabad women police and now the case will be looked after women city crime of Ahmedabad.
The woman was arrested in a land scam of Vadodara before four months and she was kept in CID Crime custody from 24 May to 28 May. The woman claims that she was raped during the period only. The truth will come out after the medical report of the lady.

The Central Bureau of Investigation on Wednesday filed 10 thousand page charge sheet after 18 months in Mumbai High Court. The charge sheet is against 13 accused persons in the Adarsh Housing Society case, including the former Maharashtra Chief Minister, Ashok Chavan, the former MLC, Kanhaiyalal Gidwani; senior retired Army officials and bureaucrats and a former employee of the Defence Ministry.
Previously 9 accused were arrested by the CBI but they got bail because charge sheet was not filed in 60 days.
The accused are booked for cheating, criminal conspiracy and misconduct by government servants. Sections 13(1)(d), 120B and 420 of the IPC have been invoked against them.

Delhi based Pankaj Kapoor, the owner of Kapoor Jewelers and his son Suchit Kapoor are accused of demanding dowry and torturing from Ahmedabad based girl who was married to Suchit Kapoor in 2008.
Lawyer of the complainant says that her in-laws started tortured her physically and mentally and demanded numerous things from her and at last sent her back home.
However, Pankaj Kapoor says that all the allegations are baseless and he has a letter written by the mother of his daughter-in-law in which she clearly stated that no dowry will be exchanged in this marriage. He further says that this is a conspiracy to take money from them.
Police has nabbed her husband in 4 day remand and is investigating further in the case.

Main accused of killing a blind youth surrenders to police due to pressure. After his surrender police gave him a public punishment. The accuse was interrupted by the victim when he was quarreling with someone. This interruption agitated the accused who attacked the victim with sword.
Previously two other accused were nabbed but the main accused was missing. And police punished them as well in public.

Two more accused, Lala Takore and Devjan Mishra, are arrested for demolishing the dead body of Mayur Thakore and destroying the proofs of his death. Both these accused came in car near Adalaj when fun fair manager, Krunal and Shokat took his dead body there on bike. Later, these both accused took his dead body from Krusnal and Shokat and took it to Chitrasana near Palanpur, where they buried the dead body. Though these two accused are arrested by the police, Shokat is still absconding.
The total number of nabbed accused has reached 6 in context to Mayur Thakore’s case.

On Sunday two groups of same family came face-to-face following land dispute. In the entire mishap an old man died after getting hit by sharp weapons. The other 4 who are injured are admitted at private hospital of Rajkot.
Police rushed to the spot and is investigating further in the case. Police has filed a murder case and is in search of the accused.

A diamond merchant, Yaduji Solanki was involved in diamond loot is nabbed. Police investigation revealed that in year 2000 he alongwith a partner looted diamonds worth 25 lac rupees. Thereafter in 2002 he looted diamond worth 5 lac rupees. All the accused were nabbed during that time except Yaduji and now he claims that he only took diamonds from a person and did not loot the diamonds. He is in a 10 day remand as of now and further investigation is going on.
