BRTS buses collides injuring 10, Ahmedabad

Two BRTS buses collided near Nava Vadaj area of Ahmedabad. The incident took place around 8:45 pm after the tyre of one of the buses burst. Residents rushed to the spot and rescued those trapped in bus. Atleast 10 people were injured in the incident and were rushed to VS and Civil Hospitals. The driver of the BRTS bus which was on its way from RTO to Naroda lost control over the vehicle and collided with another bus that was on its way from RTO to Maninagar.
FSL is probing further in the case.

After one year in laws of deceased Manish has been booked for for abetment to suicide..A year ago Manish jumped from Ambedkar bridge and died. A suicide note was found in his pocket which stated that he is committing suicide because of the embarrassment he underwent when his in-laws beat him up.
His sister in law eloped with some relative of Manish and for this Manish in laws blamed and beat him. Manish could not take the embarrassment and committed suicide. His mother is waiting for justice as she wants strict action should be take against in laws.

According to family members on September 29 Viraj left for diamond factory but did not came back. Speculations are being made that either he has been abducted or has left home on his will. Ahmedabad – Gandhinagar Metro Rail project to start from 2012

Routes for Ahmedabad – Gandhinagar metro railway projects has been announced by Gujarat Government. It is said that metro rail project will be completed in 2015.
As per the statement issued by Gujarat government, Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar Metro Rail project stretches for 76km, including 44km of commute in Ahmedabad and a 32-km tube connecting the city to Gandhinagar. The statement, however, doesn’t mention anything about dates of either ground-breaking ceremony or launch of the project.
The route in western Ahmedabad stretches from APMC market through Vasna, Parimal Garden, Panjrapol and to Vijay Crossroads, Navrangpura, Usmanpura and Vadaj upto Gandhinagar via Ranip and Sabarmati railway station. The stretch will cater to major commuter islands of Gujarat University and business centres of CG Road and Ashram Road.
Dearth of Tamil, Marathi and Sindhi language textbooks, Ahmedabad

Students are facing dearth of textbook and they are fearing this could affect their result. Textbooks of Marathi, Sindhi and Tamil are not available in market as result students of respective medium school are facing difficulty in studying at home without textbooks.
Parents are also worried and have complain that government is doing nothing for the problem.
