School van carrying 12 students caught fire, all saved, Baroda

On Wednesday a school van carrying 12 school students caught fire. However no one was injured as all students were evacuated from the van in time. Fire brigade officials reached the spot immediately and took the fire control. Reason of fire is uncertain.

Director of Deccan Shuttle says that in a upcoming day company will cover each city which has Airport facility. Passengers have to pay 4 to 5 thousand to journey in Aircraft. If intercity flight service will be successful then the days are not so far when Jamnagar, kandala and many other city will be include in intercity plan.

Three held for fake Visa scam, Baroda

On Saturday Vadodra Crime branch busted a fake Visa scam and arrested three. The three accused are identified as Ketan Patel, Jai Patel and Neerav. They used to fool people by making duplicate Visa. Duplicate Visa was made by scanning a original one and changing photo and address of it.
16 visa of Kuwait and Iraq is recovered. Police investigation is underway.

CM Narendra Modi attends Passing Out Parade in Baroda

Narendra Modi was present in the SRP ground of Vadodara to the encourage the young police personnel. A passing out parade was organized for 419 jawans. These youths became police personnel after 8 month hardcore training. In the history of Vadodara police academy, this is the first time the Chief Minister Narendra Modi was present.
This year total 8000 jawans are added to the police force of Gujarat State.
CM gave awarded trophy to 6 jawans for their outstanding performance.
Minor commits suicide in Police custody, Baroda

A 14 year old committed suicide at Rangpur police station by hanging himself with a dupatta. Police had detained Vipul Rathwa alongwith 2 others in a murder case of a girl. With the incident residents are agitated by the irresponsibility of the police. They blames that when Vipul entered the police station he had no dupatta with him then how he managed to hand himself. They also says that police killed the minor and later hanged himself with the ceiling.
Looking at the seriousness of the situation police assured to residents to have a fair probe in the matter. The dead body is sent for postmortem.
Hike in price of Milk and Butter milk, Baroda

Baroda Dairy board has declared increase in price of milk, butter milk which will be effective from Tuesday May 1. Increase in rupees 2 per litre of Milk and Butter milk is decided. According to members of board hike in prices was necessary as the income from milk is dipping.
Now, while Amul Gold will cost Rs 38 per litre, Amul Shakti will cost Rs 35 per litre, Amul Cow milk will cost Rs 32 per litre, whereas Amul Slim & Trim will cost Rs 27 per litre to consumers. Price of Amul Cow milk (200 ml) pouch have been increased from Rs 6.5 to Rs 7.
whereas price of Amul Slim & Trim milk has increased by Re 1 per litre.
