There has been a unique connection between the 14 date and fire in AMTS buses. Since last three months three buses caught fire and it was 14 date during every occasion. On 14th May the first CNG bus caught fire at SG Road, on 14 June another CNG bus caught fire at Nehru bridge cross roads and on third occasion as well a CNG bus caught fire at 14th July near Rupali Cinema.

On Saturday two AMTS buses collided in which one of the buses caught fire. Following this AMTS officials started investigation as to how the bus caught fire. On Saturday it was the driver and AMTS Chairman said that the accident occurred because of brake fail, but now there are different conclusions regarding the accident.
The investigation reveals that the accident occurred because of technical error in the bus. It is said that the safety measures were not taken by the bus driver and conductor fire system that is installed int he bus was not used which might have saved the bus from burning completely.
Many questions are now arising regarding the reason behind this bus accident.

AMTS bus route number 31 was on its way to Laldarwaja. When the bus was passing near Nehrubridge the brake of the bus failed and in order to avoid any fatal accident he rammed the bus into another bus.
Due to this collision CNG gas cylinder of bus exploded. Fortunately the bus driver was alert enough to empty the bus on right time and the passengers were saved successfully.
After the incident many questions have arose regarding the security and safety of AMTS buses.
