On Sunday a four month old baby girl was found abandoned at Railway yard in Puri express train. After two day a couple who hail from chhatisgarh and work as labour has claimed that she is their daughter.

The girl was kept in Mahipat ashram after she was handled to Railway police by onlookers. According to mother she did not left her but when she stepped down from the train to fetch water keeping baby inside, by the time she returned train left the station. Father was taking ticket at that time. However girl will be handled to them after DNA test.

Child who fell in water tank died due to negligence of mother

Two day ago it was reported that a 4 year old died after falling in water tank. Mother of the deceased child told police that a thieve robbed theft Rs 500 and mobile and in this attempt he threw the four year old in water due to which the child succumbed to death.

But on police investigation two days later a shocking revelation was made by the mother that the child due to negligence of her. Due to negligence he fell in water tank, fearing the mother plotted the story.

Surrogate mother duped and raped by lover, Ahmedabad

A pregnant surrogate mother alleged rape on accused Rajkumar Jadav of raping her twice and cheating her for 1.60 lakh rupees. The victim gave her first baby in adoption for 2 lakh rupees but her lover gave her only 40,000 rupees and took away the entire amount.
The victim stays with her mother and sisters and for the second time decided to choose surrogacy for money and became pregnant for the second time.
She has accused her lover for raping her twice. But further she also said that she want to marry him for the sake of his mother and sisters as only she can improve him. Police has as of now lodged a complaint on the basis of the victims statement who is undergoing treatment in Civil Hospital and is on a look out of the accused.

11 Child Labours rescued from factory, Gandhinagar

11 child labour were rescued from Ranasaria Poly Pack Pvt. Ltd. in Kalol of Gandhinagar. Interestingly, there was a notice board outside the factory stating that they do not make those work under 18 years of age.
But when police raided the place they found a good number of child labour and 15 Bonded Labours in it. Most of the kids came from West Bengal. They worked for 10 to 11 hours per day and received 150 to 200 rupees.
When asked majority of them expressed desire to go back to their homes. Police has filed a complaint.

Mayur’s death raises questions on the safety in fun fairs, Ahmedabad

Nine year old Mayur Thakor who was reported missing since June 24. On June 30 his dead body was found from palanpur. In shocking revelation it has come out that he died of electrocution in a fair in Ahmedabad.

The organizers of the fun fair took his dead body to Palanpur and buried him there in order to hide their irresponsibility. Police was in search of the kid since last four days and as last found his dead body. In the meanwhile dead body of a kid was found from Palanpur. His dead body was identified on the basis of his clothes and outlook. Police has nabbed three accused whereas Kunal, the manager of the fun fair and two others are absconding. Police has lodged a case of murder and conspiracy against the manager of the fun fair.

Death of innocent Mayur Thakor has raised many question that whether the organizers of Anand Mela has sought permission before organizing fair. Whether it was laced with fire safety measure. Across the state Busch fairs are organized, what is guarantee that such incident would not take place in future.

10 Child Labours rescued from 6 companies, Ahmedabad

10 child labours were rescued by police and labour department in a raid in 6 companies that produces bags. These companies are located in Saraspur area of Ahmedabad. Most of these child labours are aged between 12-13 and hails from Bihar. These kids were brought in Gujarat by a man named Rangeela who brought them promising work.
The kids were getting 150rs to 250rs per month.
However, the owners of the companies were agitated at the raids.
All 10 child labours are as of now sent to child observation homes.

After Mahi one more child fell in open borewell, dies, Kolkata

5 year old Mahi lost the battle of her life as she was trapped in a borewell for 80 hours. The rescuers pulled out a lifeless body of Mahi from 68 feet deep borewel ditch. The postmortem said the child had suffocated to death within six hours of falling into the ditch on Wednesday night.
Hours after this fatal incident, a minor boy, Roshan, in Kolkata fell in a borewell. Roshan Ali fell in 30 – 40 feet deep well on Sunday. Fire brigade and Army started their rescue operation but unfortunately Roshan died inside the borewell.
Such incidents of kids falling and dying in borewells are increasing in number.

Seven Year Old Delhi boy found abandoned from Rajkot Railway Station

Armaan was found from Rajkot railway station by a passenger, he handed him to Rajkot police. When Armaan was roaming at platform he was spotted by Imraan.

On Investigation it has been found that Armaan was traveling with her mother from Delhi. However it is not certain that whether her mother left him or he was left by mistake. Rajkot police has contacted Delhi police to find her mother.

Man abducts sister-in-law’s child to get his wife, Surat

Sachin GIDC police has nabbed a man who abducted an 8 month old baby of his sister-in-law to get his wife back from his in-laws. He abducted the baby and left her at a temple. Police took possession of the baby and later nabbed the accused. He is in police custody as of now.
According to the accused he and his wife eloped and married. After six months his wife expressed desire to meet her family members. On their return the girls dad restricted the duo to meet and which led the accused to abduct the baby on whose exchange he wanted to have his wife.

To escape exams Teen plots self abduction, Vadodra

In order to escape exams a boy plotted his own abduction. The student has confessed his deed before police. Sajid was fed up with studies therefore plotted a story of his own kidnapping.

Sajid is basically from Rajasthan and stays in Vadodra with Bharat a friend of his Father. Sajid called up Bharat saying that he has been abducted. When Sajid did not return back bharat lodged complain in Police. In a dramatic way police found him. On quizzing him he told police officials that he did this to escape exams.
