Senior BJP leader LK on Sunday announced that NDA will call for Bandh on September 20 against diesel price hike. It is reported that Mamta Banerji and Mulayam Singh Yadav is also against Government decision of FDI. Moreover Mamta Banerji has given 72 hours ultimatum to central government.

Before elections Gujarat Congress has promise that if there party will be elected than they will provide cheaper petrol, diesel and CNG as compared to neighbouring states. Also they stated that the VAT tax on manure will also be eliminated which can be much relief to the farmers.
These were announced in the reticent manifesto of Congress party. They started a VAT politics by declaring that the party will decrease VAT tax in the state.
