Two Children died of electrocution in Powai, Mumbai


In Mumbai on Monday night two children died due to electrocution in Powai area. The deceased are identified as Sagar Gaut (13) and Mohammad Sayeed (9). The incident took place when children were playing in water.

Two more arrest in Mayur Thakor case, Ahmedabad


Two more accused, Lala Takore and Devjan Mishra, are arrested for demolishing the dead body of Mayur Thakore and destroying the proofs of his death. Both these accused came in car near Adalaj when fun fair manager, Krunal and Shokat took his dead body there on bike. Later, these both accused took his dead body from Krusnal and Shokat and took it to Chitrasana near Palanpur, where they buried the dead body. Though these two accused are arrested by the police, Shokat is still absconding.
The total number of nabbed accused has reached 6 in context to Mayur Thakore’s case.

Mayur’s death raises questions on the safety in fun fairs, Ahmedabad


Nine year old Mayur Thakor who was reported missing since June 24. On June 30 his dead body was found from palanpur. In shocking revelation it has come out that he died of electrocution in a fair in Ahmedabad.

The organizers of the fun fair took his dead body to Palanpur and buried him there in order to hide their irresponsibility. Police was in search of the kid since last four days and as last found his dead body. In the meanwhile dead body of a kid was found from Palanpur. His dead body was identified on the basis of his clothes and outlook. Police has nabbed three accused whereas Kunal, the manager of the fun fair and two others are absconding. Police has lodged a case of murder and conspiracy against the manager of the fun fair.

Death of innocent Mayur Thakor has raised many question that whether the organizers of Anand Mela has sought permission before organizing fair. Whether it was laced with fire safety measure. Across the state Busch fairs are organized, what is guarantee that such incident would not take place in future.

Youth saved after getting hit by 11 KV line, Porbandar


On 23rd June an employee of power company died as he climbed the 11 KV line to see the fault in the power line. But unfortunately he died of electrocution. After this incident a bike rider was also hit by this live wire and the youth was thrown far away. But fortunately the youth was saved miraculously and sustained minor injuries. But this incident once again highlight irresponsibility of PGVCL.

13 year old died in school premises due to electrocution, Vadodara


In Vadodra a 13 year old boy died due to electrocution while he was chopping branches of trees. Vishnu Sagarda a class 8th students was asked by her principal to climb tree and chop the branches, while preforming the task he came in contact with over head electric wire. He was electrocuted and died on the spot.

Principal of Madhavnagar Prathmok Shala, Vadodra Kailash Patel is denying that she has asked Visnu to perform the task. While his fellow students have said that she was there on the spot while he climbed the tree. Even the class teacher of Vishnu has confessed that students are asked to perform all such tasks as there is no peon in the school.

The principal has also stated that deceased Vishnu was mentally unstable so he used to do all such things nobody has asked him to perform the task.

Man died due to electrocution at Bus stop, Mumbai


On Thursday a man died of electrocution at Mahim Bus Stop in Mumbai. According to the police, Abdul Karim Shaikh was sitting at the bus stop, when a short circuit occurred inside the electric hoarding placed above. This led to leakage of current from the hoarding to the bus stop, electrocuting Shaikh.
