Sex racket that was running in the hotel located in Ulhasnagar was busted when our team did a sting operation after several complaints from the locals. There we found out that minors girls were also forced into flesh trade. Pimps used to work as waiters in this hotel and they gave customers an option to choose girl of their choice.
The hotel has 50 rooms and gambling is also carried out here freely.
The rent in this hotel is from 800-1000 but customers uses the rooms per hours which leads the owner to earn double money with number of customers per day.
A sex racket was busted yet again in Ahmedabad. Khokhra police raided Ambuja Co-operative Society where the sex racket was running. 4 females and 7 males were nabbed int this raid.
The main accused Parul Shah was running this racket by calling the women from Bengal and Mumbai through pimps.
When interrogated the Parul said that the entire racket was running out of helplessness.
Many objectionable things were also found from the apartment during the raid.
Item girl, Survi Chatterjee has Laila Khan and her mother Saleena of flesh trade. She accuses Laila Khan’s mother of being in contact with many high profile people. She also said that every time new people were seen with Laila and Saleena and it was her mother that sent Laila in this flesh trade.
She went on to say that she was informed by many from to industry to keep a safe distance from Laila and her mother Saleena.
Satellite police on Friday evening busted a prostitution racket at Ratnamani Flats behind Star Bazaar in Satellite. Police arrested Sweety Panchal for allegedly running the racket with her boy friend Umesh Khachar who is electronic engineer by profession.
Mumbai Police on Tuesday arrested three for forcing girls in sex trade. The accused are identifies as Yasmeen sheikh , Gaikwad, and Iqbal Ali. Their sex racket network was in Bangladesh also. They used to lure young girls by job offering then after that would sell them for 30, 000 rupees.
A Kolkata woman was brought to Mumbai promising her a visit to Haji Ali Dargah but she was forced in flesh trade. The woman who has studied till 12th standard was sold to a couple for merely 36 thousand by a man named Rakesh. Later the couple forced her in flesh trade and tortured her. Finally the woman lodged a complaint against them and police has nabbed the lady. But the husband and Rakesh is absconding.
Vastrapur Police busted a sex racket on Saturday evening and arrested a Pimp along with his driver. Four Mumbai bases sex workers are detained as well. The pimp is identified as Hasmukh Shah and driver as Vinod Sharma. Police laid a trap near Thaltej acting on tip off by an informer.
The cellphones had photographs of more than 100 girls. He would send the customers the photos to choose from and book dates convenient for them and would charge rupees 20,000.
Shah had promised to pay each of them Rs 30,000 for the 17-day job.
Surat Police has nabbed a person for trafficking of girls in name of marriage. The accuse is identified as Mehmood. He used to lure girls by job offering and then later used to sell them. Police is investigating to catch other members of Mehmood’s Gang.
A sex racket was busted in Rajkot. The gang used to run their flesh trade in a rented house. A man and his wife used to bring girls from outside and were running their network. Police raided their place and busted their illegal business. The police nabbed two married couple and3 customers with a total 8 people in the racket. The husbands even forced their wives in the flesh trade for money.
Vadiya Village of Banaskantha which is well known in India for the practice of human trafficking and forceful flesh trade of their unmarried daughters. But with changing time the mentality of the villagers is also changing and with the help of Ahmedabad based NGO called Vicharit Jati, they held mass wedding, for the first time, of 7 girls and engagement ceremony of 17 other girls on 11th March at 11am.
Total population of this village that is located at Tharad Taluka is 591 among which there are 270 males and 321 females. Here female population is more compared to male population. Before 150 years Saraniya community people from Rajasthan came in this village but they did not have any means to earn a living. 200 families of this community reside here and hence they started to send their 14 years and above aged daughter in this flesh trade. These girls were sent to every corner of the nation. Whenever a girl was born they did not kill her rather were happy with her birth and only unmarried girls were sent in the flesh trade. This tradition is running since 150 years and now some positive changes have been seen in the mentality of the villagers. The community believes that engaged girls cannot be forced in prostitution hence those girls who were too young to marry were engaged to boys.
Vicharit Jati organization is working on the reformation of the village since last 8 years and has organized the mass wedding of unmarried girls. This will save life of 24 girls.
This ugly practice had made the village infamous since last 150 years. And now the mass wedding will help improve the image of this village in the nation. As a result of the social organization’s efforts of 8 years, now there are only 25% families involved in this practice and the rest have left this practice. And the organization is also working for the development of the village for which they also made a road alongwith providing financial help to the people. On the other hand villagers and their leader believe that it is only because of the efforts of this organization that this mass wedding is arranged in their village. They also said that because of poor economical condition they were engaged in this practice and now are looking forward positively towards development.
