Two held for trafficking food grain from Government Godown, Valsad


On Saturday Valsad Police arrested two for trafficking grain from a godown belong to government. Police arrested after receiving tip off from an eyewitness. He saw both the cussed loading the truck with grain from godown. Surprisingly the official of the Government Godown has denied to accept that the grain belong to the godown. Police is instigating in the matter.

Gang nabbed for stealing 39 times in city, Ahmedabad


A gang of four is nabbed who are responsible for 39 house break-ins in different parts of the city. They have stolen valuables, clothes and cables worth 1 crore rupees. They used to steal these valuables during the midnight and has also hired a tempo to carry the stolen goods. The main accused has accepted 39 thefts during interrogation and investigation of other members is going on.

Sons cheated father for property, left him deserted, Sabarkantha


A father who sent his two sons to London for studying and later helped them settle down in America was cheated by his own sons. After three years of their marriage both his sons came back to India and promised their father to take him to America. For this they asked their father to sell all the property he has here in Junagadh.
After this the father and his sons set off for Mumbai but the sons asked their father Ramjibhai to get down at Surat railway station.
From there both his sons flew away and did not returned till date.
Ramjibhai is currently undergoing treatment at an ashram’s hospital as he injured self in an accident.
Ramjibhai owned 20 acre land, a house worth 16 lakh, two cars as well as 75,000/- cash in home. However, due to the deeds of is sons Ramjibhai is now left penniless

It was celebration time at Prakash School for Mentally Retarded where a rakhabandhan day was celebrated. Girls and women tied rakhi on the hands of the boys of this school and on the other hand the kids gave gifts to their ‘sisters’.

Missing boy returns for sister, Ahmedabad


Karthik ran away from his home because of low marks in IIT. He went away from him home and boarded any random train from Kalupur railway station. He ran away to Surendranagar and later reached Kharagpur. But soon he started missing his sister as the festival of Rakshabandhan came nearer. Hence he asked his friend to inform his family about his location. Later his father went to Kharagpur to fetch the kid and the boy was reunited with his family after 7 months.
Family members also lodged a missing complaint at Khokhra police station where they later informed about the boy’s arrival. Karthik and Vishwa went missing during the same time period.

Two held for looting many in disguise of women, Kalol


Kalol police nabbed two men who supposed to dress up as women and rob the truck drivers on highways. They used to stop the drivers by any reason and then looted them of money and valuables.
This gang created a terror in Rajkot, Adalaj, Navsari, and various other areas of Gujarat. Pistol, cartridges, knives and many other things are recovered from these robbers. They confessed 2o loots by far. Investigation is still going on in the case.

Couple beaten up, stripped for falling in love, Udaipur


A couple received inhuman behaviour for falling in love by the Kolar village panchayat in Udaipur as the woman was already married. They were tied with tree, beaten and even tonsured for having this “illicit” relationship by the villagers for hours.
The couple fell in love with each other and eloped 10 days ago but the villagers along with the woman’s husband tracked them to the neighbouring Kalyanpur village. Sunday they were presented before the caste council. Stripping and public thrashing was the kangaroo court’s order.
This is not all, when the police learnt about the incident they reached the spot to the couple’s rescue but villagers stoned a police team sent to the spot. It took police great pain to rescue the two, who are now under their protection.

One held for stealing in Amitabh Bachchan’s home, Mumbai


On Saturday, a youth barged into Amitabh Bachchan’s home ‘Jalsa’ during midnight. The 20 year old youth entered into mysteriously and climbed the gulmohar tree of the bungalow reaching at the balcony of Big B’s bedroom. The thief stole 8000 rupees cash from the drawer of the room.
He was nabbed by the security officials and was handed over to the police. Juhu police presented the thief in court and get remand of 14 days. Interrogation is going on in the case.
Basically from Madhya Pradesh, the youth arrived in Mumbai before one and a half month and was living at railway platform besides searching for a job.
Big B also tweeted on his twitter about the incident.
