Female ACP harassed for dowry, Amravati

A female ACP of Amravati is harassed by her in-laws for dowry. Shweta Khedar serves as Assistant Commissioner of Police in Amrawati Crime Branch. The ACP in her police complaint stated that her husband had demanded Rs5 lakh for starting a business and she had fulfilled his demand but even after that they kept harassing her.
She married Mahesh Hade on February 18, 2011. But within two months of their marriage her husband and mother-in-law started harassing and torturing her over petty issues. As of now police has arrested ACP’s husband and mother-in-law for allegedly harassing her physically and mentally.

Harassed by Money Lenders, Man commits suicide, Jamnagar

Vasantbhai Parmar of Jamnagar took money from 3 people to marry his daughter. But soon after the marriage the usurers started torturing him for getting back their money with interest. At last he was tortured to such an extent that Vasantbhai committed suicide by hanging himself to the ceiling of his house.
He has left a suicide note in which he clearly stated that it was the torture of usurers that forced him to take this extreme step.
His son has lodged a complaint against all the three accused and police investigation is going on in in this matter.

Unknown man harasses women by indecent SMS and calls, Mumbai

An unknown man harassed a man by sending indecent SMS and swearing on him since last five months. Apart from him many of his co colleagues are also harassed by this person. He used to message them indecent things and say abusive things on phone calls. When these people tried to trace the number it states different locations, such as Delhi, Dubai, Benaras, etc.
Police is trying to trace the person.

Woman stalked by Stranger, harassed with indecent SMS, Mumbai

A woman is harassed by an unknown stalker who sends her indecent messages. When the woman called the number from which she gets these indecent messages the stalker used to swear on her. The stalker did not stop at this he even used to follow her wherever she goes. The woman is a nurse in a hospital and she is unmarried. The moment she comes down of her hospital the stalker messages her saying what clothes she is wearing and where all she had been. The woman many a times tried to complain to the police but on the other hand the police either asked her to change her number or said that the police station is out of the range where she lives.

Hair Dresser of Katrina Kaif harassed by a parlour at her residence, Mumbai

Pramila, hair dresser of Katrina Kaif is troubled by a beauty parlour that has possessed the vacant area of Poonam Vihar Society, where she lives. The owner of the parlour has possessed the parking lot of the society and has made kitchen in the open area. The gas cylinder of the kitchen can turn fatal anytime for the residents of the society.
The residents has also lodged a complain and also claims that the owner misbehaved with the residents. The residents further said that those who works in parlour and also the visitors blows whistles as well as behaves in indecent manner while sitting in the premises of the building.
Police noted the complain and said that this is a personal matter between the residents and the owner of the beauty parlor.

Handicap woman found dead, Family suspects in-laws, Ahmedabad

A handicap woman was found dead in her house. Her dead body was found burned. Parents of the woman blames that her throat was strangled and later was set ablaze to destroy the evidence. After the incident the woman’s husband, mother-in-law and 4 month old daughter are missing.
Her parents also says that their daughter was also harassed for dowry many a times. Police is investigating in the case further.
