Woman tortured by husband for having baby girl, Ahmedabad

Once again a woman is tortured and abused over having a girl child. A pregnant woman was beaten up by her husband because the baby in her womb was a girl.
The woman was married before 3 years and had a baby girl soon after her marriage. He in-laws who wanted a boy started torturing her.
The woman was pregnant for the second time and this time her husband threatened her not to bring from her parents home if she will again give birth to a girl.
When her husband came to meet her at her parents house where she came to deliver the baby, he kicked her hard on the stomach following a fight.
Soon after the woman complained of severe pain and was rushed to the hospital. There she gave birth to another baby girl but this time the girl was born dead.
Complaint has been filed against the husband and his family.

Girls alleges her in-laws for hiding that her husband was HIV Positive. He husband went to Allahabad for job leaving his wife in the village of Patan with in-laws. Afterwards the in-laws started torturing her for dowry.
Later colleagues of her husband brought him back because of his ill health and only then she came to know about her husbands health. Following this when she herself went for a check up it came out that she has also contracted the disease. Her husband died and the girl has lodged a complaint against her in-laws as she was tortured by them.

Doctor killed husband for demanding sex , Mumbai

Mumbai police has arrested a doctor who allegedly killed her husband for demanding sex. On Thursday husband of the accused came home drunk, argument took place between them after he demanded sex. She was fed with his drinking habit and unnecessary physical demand, thus in rage she strangulated him to death.

It is reported that the deceased did not contributed much to family monetarily. Their 20 year old marriage ended in this manner, they also have 17 year old daughter.

A couple married against the will of their families before one year. After marriage they shifted to Narol area and lived a happy life. But later the family members of girl kidnapped the guy and took him to some highway. But as soon as they learnt that a police complaint is lodged against them that they left the guy on highway and arrived at police station. Police is probing further in the case.

Man attacked wife with sharp weapon, admitted to Hospital in critical condition,Rajkot

Varsha is in critical condition as her husband attacked her and tried to kill him. The accused husband is identified as Sanjay and police is searching for him. The elder son of the victim is the witness of entire incident.

Sanjay planned out outing with family. In the way he asked his wife and son to push the auto as it stopped. While Varsha was pushing auto Sanjay attacked her from behind and threw him in the bushes. He took his two son in auto and ran away. But the elder son Gautam jumped off from the auto and called 108. Varsha was then taken to hospital and is in critical condition battling for life.

Police has lodged the complain however the reason behind the attack is not certain yet.

Husband commits suicide as wife slaps him in public, Ahmedabad

A resident of Bapunagar area commits suicide following family dispute. His wife slapped him in public because of which he felt humiliated and as a result he committed suicide. He was mentally tortured by his wife and in-laws every now and then. Hence, he hanged himself and committed suicide. Police has lodged a complaint against his wife and in-laws.

Wife who was set on fire by her husband dies, Rajkot

We reported a news in which Rita was set on fire by her drunk husband. She dies during treatment in hospital. In one of the scuffle between the husband and the wife when Sanjay used to beat Rita, he sprinkled kerosene on her and set her on fire. Rita sustained 80% burn and Sanjay sustained 10% burns. Both were admitted in the Civil Hospital of Rajkot where Rita succumbed to her injuries.
Police has lodged a case of murder against Sanjay and is probing further in the case. Fortunately, their daughter was not present when Sanjay set Rita on fire, hence she was saved from any misfortune.

Husband set wife ablaze, injured self, Rajkot

Husband in a drunken state set his wife on fire and in the process injured himself as well. Sanjay was an alcoholic and used to beat his wife, Rita, after getting drunk. On the fateful day he came home fully drunk and started bashing her up. Later he sprinkled kerosene on Rita and set her ablaze. His wife has succumbed 80% burn and doctors says that her condition is critical. Whereas Sanjay says that all this happened jokingly and Rita set herself on fire. He is also 10% burnt. Police has lodged a complaint against him. What was surprising in the entire case was the way Rita said the she wants the police to threaten her husband but she does not want his life to get ruined. The couple has a daughter as well.

Husband tried to kill wife by setting her on fire, Vadodra

Mitesh Solanki a resident of Vadodra is booked under IPC 307. He allegedly tried to kill his wife by setting her on fire after hurling kerosene on her. Mitesh and Peenal had love marriage. They married each other 6 months ago. Peenal was suspecting that her husband is having relationship with other woman this led to everyday quarrel between them. Peenal has sustained 50% burn injuries.
