Raksha Bandhan was celebrated in the most unique way this year. Two families – one Hindu and another Muslim, has set an example of humanity and harmony by exchanging not just rakhis but kidneys are well.
Rafiq Khokhar (52) will get a kidney from Kashmira Bhatt (46) whereas Khokhar’s wife, Ruksana, 45, will donate her kidney to Kashmira’s husband Gautam.
Both the families vow to protect this unique relation for the rest of their lives.
