There is a 52 km long coastal area in Navsari district. Here, marine police stations are established but these police stations shut because of lack of staff. After the terrorist attacks in Mumbai various projects were started to tighten the marine security. But looking at the condition of Navsari sea coast there is nothing in name of security. However, police claims of being alert towards coastal security.
