Ahmedabad Cycle Merchant Association has made new rule of not selling bicycles without ID proof alarmed by the use of bicycle in recent Pune blast and 2008 blast as well.
In the 2008 Jaipur blasts that claimed 71 lives, brand new cycles were used as carrier of the bombs. Similarly, three new cycles were used in the blasts at Pune.
Every cycle dealer will follow the suit in order to prevent misuse of bicycle in terrorist activity.

Twenty Eight year old Fasih Mohammed an engineer by profession alleged of involvement in the Chinnaswamy Stadium blast in Bangalore and the shooting incident near Jama Masjid has been arrested in Saudi Arabia. The the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is likely to send a team to the Gulf country to discuss the modalities of his extradition as he is wanted in Delhi and Karnatka.
However wife of Fasih is claiming that he is innocent.

In a shocking revelation, sources have said that LeT terrorist Syed Zabiuddin Ansari alias Abu Hamza, who was arrested by the Delhi Police, for plotting the 26/11 attacks stayed at Mumbai’s MLA Mumbai in 2006. However, Fauzia Khan, minister of state for education, says that she has already got a clean chit in this case as Abu Hamza stayed in her room. She further said that she is ready to co-operate with the investigation of this case and that she does not know any one of the name Abu Hamza.
However, opposition leader demands investigation in this case.

On Wednesday Abrar Maniyar, an accused in the 2008 serial bomb blasts in Ahmedabad, was brought to the city by the crime branch. Maniyar was produced before a court on Thursday and sent on 12 days police remand.
After completing remand with Mumbai police, Abrar was lodged in the Aurangabad jail. Crime Branch officials then applied for transfer warrant and Abrar was brought to the city on this basis

After central IB issued alert to Gujarat for possible terror attacks in Gujarat coastal marine security has become more alert. Security at Somnath temple is beefed up as it is vulnerable terror attack. In veraval region coast guard,marine security and local police is working together and is doing consistent patrolling in Arabian sea. If any suspicious boat is spotted is detained immediately.
There are 30 soldiers but it has responsibility of protecting eight villages. They do not have proper equipments and has only three boats which is a matter of worry.

Gujarat is on high alert after central IB issued six photos of suspected Let Militant who have possibly intruded borders of Kutch. Especially security of oil refineries of Jamangar was beefed up as IB report said that it was on militant’s target.
