Terror of lions has increased in villages of Veraval. Recently lion hunted cow of a farmer and despite the villagers watching them the lions shows no sign of fear and continued their feast. The farmers and shepherds are threatened with this unwanted attacks of wild animals. On one hand lack of electricity and on the other hand terror of wild animals has made people’s lives miserable.

On Friday in a village of Maharashtra a dog and leopard fell in an open well for 12 long hours. Both fought with each other and at the end dog came victorious. It was unusual to see that dog was threatening dangerous animal like leopard.
In Bhenda village of Ahmednagar a leopard was chasing dog, and in this chase both fell in same well. The same dog that was running fearing leopard suddenly got transformed after felling in well. The dog started barking at Leopard as result leopard was sitting mute in a corner of well.
Forest department reached the incident spot and captured the leopard thus both lives were saved.

In Ningada Village of Khambha Taluka a three year old lion feel in an open well on Thursday April 26. In the garden of Ghanshyam Bahi patel at 12 noon three year old lion
fell in open well. When villager came to know about this they put bed tied with rope inside well. The lion jumped on the bed. After that Forest department reached the
spot and rescued lion from the well after one hour of struggle.

A farmer while watering his farm was attacked by a lioness and lion. It was a close call for the farmer who was dragged by the lioness. But fortunately he was saved as he gave a good fight to the lioness. This was the second attack by lioness in 48 hours. Before this the lioness attacked two goats and a cow and now following this attack on farmer the villagers have appealed to forest department for quick action.
