Tv9 Gujarat – Modi meets Suzuki Chairman, decides to estalish Maruti Suzuki plant in Mehsana


A meeting between Narendra Modi and Chairman of Suzuki Motors Corporation, Osamu Suzuki was organized in the Hamamatsu city of Japan. Osamu Suzuki left no stone unturned to welcome Modi and his delegation. Suzuki was very impressed by the development of Gujarat State and thanked Modi for helping in the successful Maruti Suzuki project in Mehsana.

With the arrival of top international automobile company in Gujarat, the state is on the verge of becoming an automobile hub. Maruti Suzuki is about to establish its plant near Becharaji in Mehsana. A fruitful meeting of Modi and delegation with Maruti Suzuki Corporation was organized.

Modi was welcomed according to the Japanese tradition in the Grand Hotel of Hamamatsu city. Mayor and Commissioner of Hamamastu were also present. Modi was offered green tea according to the tradition. Osamu Suzuki organized a special lunch in the honour of Modi during which both discussed the established businesses in India.

Osamu Suzuki informed that 500 employees will be brought from Gujarat to Japan and they will be trained there after which they will be send back to work on the plant. Impressed by the development of the state he also said that he will advice other industries as well to invest in Gujarat.

Modi visited the biggest Suzuki plant in Hamamatsu. There he met Indian engineers working in on the Suzuki plant. He addressed the engineers and educated them about the development of Gujarat State. During this get together a Gujarati youth recited a poem for Modi.

After visiting Suzuki plant Modi visited Suzuki museum. There he was informed about how the car is made, what steps should be taken during accident, etc. Modi also saw a 3D film here.

After this Modi remained present in the JETRO Investment Seminar related to Automobile industries. Approximately 100 people were present in this seminar. After the seminar Modi organized a meeting with the office-bearers of Hamamatsu Chambers of Commerce and Industries.

Drunk school bus driver puts students lives at stake, dies, Mehsana


A bus of Saraswati Vidya School in Mehsana over turned as the drunk driver was over speeding the bus. Fortunately, the 20 students that were in the bus sustained merely minor injuries and escaped death.
The driver was newly appointed and prior a complaint was also made to the school authorities about his over speeding but no action was taken against him. The driver was driving the school bus in drunk condition since last one week.
However, in the accident the driver died.
Irate parents says that the school authorities shown irresponsibility in this case. The authorities did not comment on the entire accident.

Casino in name of Health Club, Mehsana


A high profile casino was running under the name of Health Club. The Banshi Health Club Pvt. Ltd. was also giving membership cards to the gamblers. Police was also shocked by looking at the cards, plastic coins, LCD TV, round table, and other gambling materials. There was also a kitchen in the casino. Police raided the place and nabbed 25 gamblers. Investigation revealed that this casino was running since quiet a long time. Hence, investigation is going on further in the matter.

A resident of Visnagar invented a kit that help running a bike on water. With the help of this kit any two wheeler can run on water. This can be a huge relief from the ever increasing petrol price. Jitu Patel is nether an engineering or technical degree holder, he is merely a 10th pass yet his crucial interest in mechanical has resulted in this invention.
He with great hard work has made this kit. This kit gives good enough average with which a vehicle can run for 65 to 70 km. The expense of this kit is 5 – 6 thousand rupees.

Maruti Suzuki Plant increases land rates, Mehsana


Maruti Suzuki is all set to invest in Gujarat. The plant of Maruti Suzuki will be st in Becharji near Mehsana. As a result of this the rates of lands have become sky high. This plant will be set up in Hansalpur village near Becharaji.
MOU is also done between the Maruti Suzuki Company and State Government.
As a result of this there is a tremendous increase in the rates of land surrounding the government land that is given to the project.
Previously nobody was willing to buy this lands and now the project has changed the entire outlook of the land and business here.

Oil Mills facing diffeiculty following Stock Limit, Mehsana


As a result of the new stock limit imposed on groundnut oil to control the rates, the oil mills are facing a great loss. According to the stock limit the wholesale merchants of oil seed can keep 200 ton and retailers can keep 10 ton in gross. Whereas the mill owners can keep raw material till 2 months and ready oil for 1 month only.
State Government blames Central Government for this price hike in groundnut oil.
Because of stock limit condition of oil mills in Kadi of Mehsana has worsen.

After receiving the one crore worth and 1500 years old idol of Jain Goddess Chakreshwari Mata, the devotees in large number are coming for their worship. The security of the idol is also tightened.
