Governor Dr Kamla Beniwal has sanctioned prosecution of minister of state for fisheries Purushottam Solanki in an alleged scam worth Rs.400 crore. The state cabinet had earlier denied sanction to prosecute Solanki, the powerful Koli leader following which the HC had ruled that the final call in the matter lies with the governor.
