MSU student alleges ragging by seniors, Vadodara

The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Vadodara is once again trapped in controversy. This time the issue is of ragging. A student of architecture has accused his seniors of harassing him in name of ragging. He even complained that the seniors made him do obscene things and forced him to dance. The student was tortured mentally as well as physically. Hence he stopped going to college. It was only when he informed his father that the entire incident came into light. His father complained to the university authorities and demanded strict action against the accused.
An inquiry committee has be made who will present a report on Wednesday.
Reportedly it is said that a professor is also involved in this ragging case.
MS students on strike miffed with suspension of students protesting molestation

Authority of MS University has suspended three students for creating ruckus in warden office. This has triggered strike, students are demandic to cancel the suspension.
Girls of MS University on Thursday attacked office of Dinesh Kanchan, Chief Warden of the girls hostel for not paying heed to their complains. On Wednesday one of the girl from hostel faced molestation outside premises of hostel. When girls went to complain it to warden no heed was paid to them. In rage girls of the hostel vandalized the office. They threw furniture, printer computer and everything possible in the air.
Results of students not declared 90 days in MS University, Vadodara

After 90 days of exams the students of MS University has not received their results yet. This is because of the newly implied semester system in the University. The result of F.Y, S.Y and T.Y are not declared yet. Also, the students comes regularly in college but lectures are not taken regularly. Students as a result are confused about what steps should they take.

Student’s Union election may stop in MS University. Election happens only in Delhi and Baroda University from allover the India.it is obvious that during election there are many unwanted incident takes place so that most of the collages has choose selection Method instead of election.before 5 years Ling doh committee was established by UGC. Committee Recommended to choose selection method instead of election, in that only those students can participate who has got more than 60% marks.if the Recommendation will consider than may be student union’s unwanted work will be break. Now students are thinking that which method will come, Election and Selection?
Liquor bottles found in campus of MS University, Vadodara

Liquor bottles, cigarette packets, injections and other such stuff was found from the ground of M S University. This incident has raised many eyes on the security of the ground. When asked the security guard, he said that many people come here for consuming liquor and when they are asked to leave the premises they threaten the guard. The guard also said that many of these people use to bring along prostitutes with them as well. For the security of such a big ground there is only one guard.
University official has accepted this fact and the Vice Chancellor of the university has ensured to complain to the police about this activities.
