4 teams of Crime Branch to probe in the Mantralaya fire, Mumbai

Till now 5 people has lost their lives in the massive fire of Maharashtra Mantralaya among which bodies of two have been identified. Now Crime Branch is probing in the entire case. Crime Branch has made four different teams in which there are total 30 members.
Crime Branch has taken 70 CCTV camera footage. They have got total 4 hard disks among which one hard disk is of 2 thousand GB. Crime Branch has received the CCTV footage from ground floor to 4th floor but the footage of 5th and 6th have been burnt in the fire.
Cabinet meeting was also held following this incident in which opposition got an opportunity to attack government. Shiv Sena considered this incident as the most shameful in last 50 years.

Construction of Mantralaya responsible for the massive fire, Mumbai

Several questions arises after the massive fire that breaks at the Maharashtra Mantralaya. The construction of the building is considered as one of the main reason behind the fire and also there is nothing in the name of fire safety in the building. In last 10 years 100 crore rupees are spent in the maintenance of the building but enough attention was not given to the fire safety system of the Mantralaya.
Also, there was no mock drill of fire in Mantralaya and the employees are also not trained on how to use the fire instrument.
As soon as the fire took place, fire alarm went off because of this the fire came into notice late. Fire fighters arrived at the spot 30 minutes late. Vehicles were parked in the wrong place which was a hindrance in fire fighter’s work. Fire spread even more because of the furniture and there was lack of water in the Mantralaya. Fire fighters were called from Thane because of the lack of water.

Heroes who saved the tricolor during the massive fire in Mantralaya, Mumbai

While massive fire engulfed at the Maharashtra Mantralaya on Thursday, five brave hearts risked their lives to save the national flag that was hoisting at the top of the Secretariat building. At first they checked if the fire flames are coming towards the flag and on seeing the flames proceeding towards the tricolor they climbed the top of the tower and lowered the flag with all due respect. These heroes are class four employees of the Mantralaya.

While these people were protecting the national flag, fire already reached from 4th to 7th floor but all these heroes could see was the safety and respect of our national flag.

The massive fire that broke out at the Mantralaya building in Mumbai on Thursday night killed five people and injured as many as 14 others.
