The rosy dream of GU VC bathing in luxurious private swimming pool is still far from realization as it is reported that Adesh Pal has not sought permission from the executive council to build the pool.
NSUI launched protest outside Adesh Pal residence as the condition of students in hostel is grim where they do not get sufficient water supply during summer. When media reached VC’s residence to capture the touted pool, security of Adesh Pal pelted stones on them.

During his speech at the BJP conclave, Gujarat CM, Narendra Modi was all praise for BJP’s first PM in the country Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Modi said that Vajpayee was an example of what one man could do. “Atalji was the only real PM that India had,” he said. “The two nuclear tests carried out by us showed India’s resolve despite economic sanctions,” he added.

During the BJP Council Meet, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi said that Pranab Mukherjee would have been a better choice for the post of Prime Minister but the Congress chose Manmohan Singh as ‘night watchman’ as it was worried that his success could affect the future of Gandhi family.
“If Pranab Mukherjee had been made the Prime Minister in place of Manmohan Singh then perhaps there would not have suffered so much damage as he is more connected to the ground, understands the problems and can think about the solutions,” Modi said.
However, Congress party reacted to this by saying that Modi’s speech is a bundle of lies.
On the other hand, Sanjay Raut of Shiv Sena said that “Modi is right,even Balasaheb said that Pranab was best suited for the PM post.His contribution is more than Manmohan”

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Rajnath Singh on Saturday lauded Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi for achieving a third consecutive victory in his state and enabling the main opposition party to create a new record in the Indian democratic history. He said, ” “It won’t be proper to welcome Modi with mere words. He deserves a good round of applause, a standing ovation.”
Modi’s popularity among the BJP office-bearers from across the country and it was apparent with the crowd breaking into applause each time his name was mentioned.
