Modi slams Sonia Gandhi over unfullfiled promises made to Gujarat’s farmers

Today Narendra Modi resumed his election rally from Jherda village of Deesa. According to reports Sonia Gandhi is scheduled to visit Gujarat today. While addressing the rally Narendra Modi attacked Sonia Gandhi by asking her to answer about the unfulfilled promised she had made. Modi further said that 1800 crore aid was promised for farmers but till date not a single rupee aid is received. He also taunted Sonia Gandi over her son in law Robert Vadra.

It is likely that day after tomorrow Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will visit Gujarat. Modi even question PM about Rs.1500 crore draught packages.

Villages being swept away due to rising sea level, Valsad

Villages of Valsad that are located near Arabian Sea are in danger as it seems that the village could be swept off with rushing sea water. Villagers of Bhadeni Hingraj lives in fear of loosing their dwelling every day. Every year sea is nearing and tides enter the houses.

If it continues then the village would not exist for long anymore.

1,62,000 fake currency seized, four held, Surat

Surat police nabbed four with fake currency on Wednesday. The arrested include three male and one female. The accused are identified as Mamata Gupta, Shivshankar Sahu, Baijnath Sahu and Rameshwar sahu and are natives of Jharkand. They used to stay in a rented house in Limbyat region of Surat.

They used auto rickshaw for circulating fake currency. Police nabbed them with auto and recovered fake currency worth 1, 6000. Police investigation is underway.
