Many social activists and idol makers supports the Tv9 Eco-friendly Ganesha in Mumbai. They appeal to people to avoid the idols that are made out of plaster of paris. Such idol cause damage to the environment and hence it is advised to bring the Eco-friendly Ganesha idol. Last year as well Tv9 team took up the green Ganesha campaign which got huge support and this year the increase in demand of green Ganesha can be seen as well.

After the controversial statement of Congress MP, Vijay Darda, gave clarification on his praising Narendra Modi on Sunday night. He said that he described Modi as a “tiger” only in the sense that he can “dictate” terms to the BJP leadership.

Congress MP, Vijay Darda on Sunday praised Gujarat CM Narendra Modi and called him a ‘lion’.
A Rajya Sabha MP from Maharashtra, Darda, is also the editor-in-chief of a media house, made the remarks at an award function in Ahmedabad which was also attended by the Chief Minister. Commending Mr Modi for his work ethics, Mr Darda, who shared the dias with the former, said, “The kind of environment created over here…I know that this is due to the roar of Gujarat’s lion. Modi’s commitment and dedication towards work bears resemblance to that of a lion.”
On the other hand Mr. Modi was quick to take a dig at Congress party following the praise by Darda. He said, “It won’t be surprising to read tomorrow’s breaking news that Darda has been served a show-cause notice from the party high command for praising Modi,”.
The praise has raised eyes of many and Congress has asked and explanation from Vijay Darda.
