Ramesh Mehta, a veteran Gujarati Actor, today died after a prolonged illness at his residence in Rajkot.
Seventy eight-year-old Mehta breathed his last at his ‘Prabhu Villa’ residence in Malavyanagar area of the city , He is survived by two sons and two daughters.
Mehta had acted in nearly 200 Gujarati films and also took part in stage plays.
Born in Navagam village in Gondal taluka of Rajkot districtHis mortal remains were consigned to flames around noon in presence of a large number of people.
