Guj Gov. Resolutions for private school to restrict abrupt fee hike

The Gujarat government has formulated a set of resolutions for all government and private schools.
These resolutions will be implemented from June next year. The government resolutions states that schools can decide their own fee standard at the primary level i.e either junior KG or Class I so that parents can take a call if the infrastructure of the school is worth the fee and whether it fits into their budget or not. Moreover, the schools can only hike their fee annually by not more than 10%.

Last year, several private schools increased their fee by more than 15% which agitated the parents. A school even hiked its fee by 25%.

These regulations also declare that now all the teachers will be paid their salaries through salary bank accounts.
