Andheri residents, Mohammad Yusuf, 45, sets self ablaze alongwith his three kids. He was staying in Ansari Mohalla, Gilbert Hill in Andheri (W). Father and the kids has sustained 80 – 85% burns and are in critical condition.
He took this extreme step because he was harassed by a builder who demolished his house under SRA scheme and did not even gave him a compensation to move to another place.
Hence he decided to kill self with kids.

An SRP officer, Lakhubha V Jadeja, committed suicide by shooting himself with his service revolver. He was assigned on duty in Fatehpura Primary School. He shoots himself in the morning while examination was going on in the school. He was transferred from border wing to SRP. According to his co-staff he did not have any trouble in family as well as on job. Hence the reason behind this step is not known yet. Police did not found any suicide note with the dead body, hence it will take help of Forensic Science Laboratory to know the reason behind this suicide.

A man, Balu Chauhan, in Porbandar attacked his wife, son and daughter following personal dispute. He attacked them with iron rod when they were asleep and later her set himself on fire by sprinkling kerosene. The man died whereas all the three injured were shifted in a hospital but later as their condition worsen they were shifted to the Civil Hospital of Rajkot. Family members says that Balu Chauhan was mentally stable and he did this after loosing his control. Police is investigation further in the case.
