Agitated mob set a house on fire after murder of a youth, Rajkot

On 24 June a youth was killed in Dhorananagar area of Rajkot. This agitated the residents who demanded the police to nab the accused as soon as possible. But before the police could take any action a group of mob set one house on fire. Though fire brigade controlled the fire, the angered mob at the end started pelting stone at police. Hence, the police had to release tear gas shells to bring the situation under control.
Learning about the incident, DCP, ACP, Additional Commissioner and other officials rushed to the spot.
Police has sent the deadbody for postmortem and has also nabbed one for killing him. Investigation is going on in order to reach the core of this murder case.

KRV activist set Bus ablaze, Belgaum

In the protest of meeting KRV activists set a bus on fire while there were passengers inside that bus. At first they pelted stones at the bus and later sprinkled petrol and set the bus on fire. When the bus driver tried to put off the fire one of the activist bashed him up. After setting the bus on fire the activists ran away.

Mother son duo set on fire by unkown, 4 year old son dies, Ahmedabad

In Naranpura on Wednesday evening a woman and her four-year old son were set ablaze by an unidentified man at their house in Naranpura on Wednesday evening.

In Parasnagar Society Archana Parmar was alone at her residence with her four year old son Vishwa while his husband Rajesh was out of house for some work. In the eve an unidentified man entered forcefully in house and set mother and son ablze by dousing kerosene on them. In the incident Archana sustained burn injuries while 4 year Vishwa was declared dead.

Ghatlodia police has said that Archana has alleged a person named Natwar for setting her on fire, investigation is underway.

Husband set wife ablaze, injured self, Rajkot

Husband in a drunken state set his wife on fire and in the process injured himself as well. Sanjay was an alcoholic and used to beat his wife, Rita, after getting drunk. On the fateful day he came home fully drunk and started bashing her up. Later he sprinkled kerosene on Rita and set her ablaze. His wife has succumbed 80% burn and doctors says that her condition is critical. Whereas Sanjay says that all this happened jokingly and Rita set herself on fire. He is also 10% burnt. Police has lodged a complaint against him. What was surprising in the entire case was the way Rita said the she wants the police to threaten her husband but she does not want his life to get ruined. The couple has a daughter as well.

Man attacks Wife, Son and Daughter, Set self on fire, Porbandar

A man, Balu Chauhan, in Porbandar attacked his wife, son and daughter following personal dispute. He attacked them with iron rod when they were asleep and later her set himself on fire by sprinkling kerosene. The man died whereas all the three injured were shifted in a hospital but later as their condition worsen they were shifted to the Civil Hospital of Rajkot. Family members says that Balu Chauhan was mentally stable and he did this after loosing his control. Police is investigation further in the case.

Villagers set Dumper Truck on Fire after it mowed down man, Vadodara

People of Raypura Village set a dumper truck on fire as it mowed down a local resident who died on the spot. As a result the agitated villagers set truck on fire and also bashed the driver who was trying to run away. Fire brigade officials reached the spot to take the fire under control but angered mob warned them not to do so.

The dead is identified as Shambubhai Parmar and it was his daughters marriage at the night when he died in this accident and the next day his nephew was to get married. This unfortunate incident has shattered the entire family.
