An auction of the ornaments were organized at the Siddhivinayak Temple. But shockingly not even a single devotee was present in this auction. Trustees believed that due to inflation this situation has emerged.
The temple authorities were upset with this as well and expect that next time the auction gets positive response as ever.

On Sunday Ornaments that are dedicated to Lord Ganesha by devotees were auctioned in Mumbai. in few hours crores of rupees were earned from this auction. The auctions is held every 4 months and the money earned from this is spend on social activities by helping poor patients and educating poor kids who are not able to afford heavy expenses.
