After Pune Serial Blast, Gujarat state has been put on high alert by Intelligence Bureau. IB wrote to Gujarat Police informing that terror attack may strike in the state on 15th August. IB also informed about tightening the security at religious and public places for the coming Janmashtami.
Police has started strict checking at Kalupur railway station and vehicles entering the cities.

In three shocking incidents of the state where family members only killed each other. In the first case a woman killed her father-in-law on a minute dispute.
In the second case a father killed his son-in-law. The father demanded sexual favors from his own daughter and when her husband opposed this he killed her husband.
In the third case the son himself killed his parents out of suspicion. All the three incidents were shocking in which relationships were murdered mercilessly.

The temperature in Gujarat State has crossed the limit of 40 degree Celsius. The hot sun-rays alongwith wind has increase the temperature. The weather department announced heat waves in Naliya and Kandla of Kutch. The officials says that this is because of Western Disturbance and the heat that comes from Rajasthan. On Tuesday the temperature was highest. The weather department has said that the temperature will still be high for some more days,

After increased number of ATM machine thefts the chief police officer of state, Chitranjan Singh, has given a guideline towards the security of ATM machines and centers.
Singh called a meeting with the SBI Bank officers in which the official various factors that are making machine theft easy. After the meeting police announced the guideline in which it mentioned that there shoot be hooter and sirens in the ATM center, machine should be fixed deep inside, security guard should be on duty during night and there should also be CCTV Cameras outside the center as well.
Hence if such things will be kept in mind that chances of ATM machine theft will lessen to great extend.

There has been a tremendous increase in missing cases of kids in the entire state. Attempts to kidnap kids are happening in the day light. According to statistics in last 4 years more than 10,500 kids have gone missing. Among this not even a single clue is found about more than 3,000 kids.
It is possible that many child thief gangs are active in the state that kidnap kids and forced them towards child labor and begging. Also the girls who are above 12 years of age are forced int prostitution. Supreme Court has alerted many states to be more serious towards missing cases of children. Following the Supreme Court’s instruction Gujarat Government has appointed CID Crime as nodal agency. CID Crime is working alongwith the help of state police towards finding the reason behind the missing kids and allegedly any further involvement of human trafficking

Gujarat BJP to organize Kisan Chetna Yatra from 6th of April which is the birthday of the party. BJP target central government by saying that that lift of cotton export is conditional.
The yatra will start from 6th April and will continue for the entire month. During this they will spread awareness among farmers regarding their rights.
On the other hand Congress party says that this is merely a political stunt of BJP party and will also organize similar program for the farmers.

Tv9 Team catered a sting operation in four big cities of Gujarat and exposed the poor security of the ATM Centers . Total 7 reporters exposed ATM centers of different banks. The sting operation was done in Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Vadodara and Surat and the result was very disappointing.
