ID proof required to buy bicycle, Ahmedabad


Ahmedabad Cycle Merchant Association has made new rule of not selling bicycles without ID proof alarmed by the use of bicycle in recent Pune blast and 2008 blast as well.
In the 2008 Jaipur blasts that claimed 71 lives, brand new cycles were used as carrier of the bombs. Similarly, three new cycles were used in the blasts at Pune.

Every cycle dealer will follow the suit in order to prevent misuse of bicycle in terrorist activity.

Was Pune blast to avenge IM murder of IM operative Qateel Siddiqui


Speculations are made that blast in pune was planted to avenge the death of death of Qateel Siddiqui in Pune Jail.

Maharashtra Home Minister R.R. Patil on Friday confirmed that Pune Police commissioner Gulabrao Pol had received an anonymous letter, written in Marathi, a few days before four low intensity explosions rattled the city on Wednesday evening.

In the letter it was written that he anonymous letter had mentioned that blasts could take place between June 13 and August 15 at different locations named in it

Police suspected that Qateel was an Indian Mujahideen (IM) operative allegedly involved in several terror cases, including the German Bakery blast and the Bangalore terror attack. He was strangled to death by two inmates at Pune’s Yerawada Jail in June.

Pune Serial Blast, Maharashtra and Delhi on High Alert


Four blasts of low intensity took place in quick succession within a radius of 500 metres of Jangali Maharaj Road.The explosions occurred at spots near Balgandharva Theatre, Dena Bank branch, a McDonald food outlet and Garware bridge. The first explosion went off at Balgandharva Theatre where the suspected bomber was injured. The explosion outside McDonald went off in a dustbin while the blasts near Garware bridge and Dena bank were reported from a cycle which had a bucket with explosives strapped on.
A high alert has been issued in Mumbai, and Delhi following Wednesday’s low-intensity blasts.
he first explosion occurred around 7.30 p.m. near Balgandharva Rang Mandir, an auditorium on JM Road.
The second explosion occurred in a dustbin outside the popular fast food joint McDonald’s. Soon after, the third and fourth blasts went off at Dena Bank and Garware Chowk, in the same vicinity, with the explosive material planted in cycles.
One bomb was exploded by the bomb squad while defusing it whereas another bomb was defused without exploding.
One person was reported injured in the blasts who is also the prime accused behind this serial blasts.

Accused of 2008 serial blast Abraar brought to Ahmedabad


On Wednesday Abrar Maniyar, an accused in the 2008 serial bomb blasts in Ahmedabad, was brought to the city by the crime branch. Maniyar was produced before a court on Thursday and sent on 12 days police remand.

After completing remand with Mumbai police, Abrar was lodged in the Aurangabad jail. Crime Branch officials then applied for transfer warrant and Abrar was brought to the city on this basis

IB Alert of Terror Attack, releases photographs of suspects, Jamnagar


Central IB has sent a report to Gujarat Police alerting about 6 suspected members of Lashkar-E-Taiyba. It is suspected that the Jamnagar Oil Refineries are their targets. IB has sent photographs of the 6 suspects. Police is search of the suspects. They have started checking at Highways, hotels and restaurants of the State.
